One up!

Superbowl Sunday! I truly am one of the guys, loving me some football! Enjoy watching the game, though most of the time Superbowls are super boring, the only worthwhile event are the commercials. But there are times I am required to be girly. This years superbowl Sunday was one of those times. Being invited to a friends house...in Rome, you get my drift. Now, I am no stranger to crafts, craft days, craft events, craft-or-ama, I have a spent many an hour 'crafting' in my younger years. However, I finally after many hours have realized crafting is not my cup of tea, just pour me tea, don't make me craft my own tea. I did fake it a lot when crafting with friends...just feign you don't know how and they come right up beside you, snatch it out of your hands, 'fix it' and TA DA! I created something! I really could brag about it! Ha! Back to Superbowl Sunday...a craft was proposed, hmmm...watch football or craft, duh, no brainer there, but alas, I'm with those who like to craft...hmmm, gulp, sigh...yeah, we could go to Michael's! :/ I really said that. We/I bought yarn and felt and picked over and commented on every bird in the aisle...meet up with my daughter, she was so proud of me...purchased our supplies and off we went to craft! I did craft AND I did finish the project...it now hangs proudly in my hallway! It was a good ole craft time...laughter at my mess, fun with friends, and the football game was played, and we ate and laughed some more! Thanks Debbie and Lois for crafting with me!

My life has been boring this last month! Just the usual January, work, come home and put my winter uniform sweats on and crawl under a blanket and zone out in front of the TV! I know you wish you had my life! There was a pinochle party, and I might have been more excited to post if I had won another trusty medal! Alas, I did not. I had dinner at a friend's house in which we talked way past our bedtime, I just didn't think she was that tired! And I didn't take any pics that nite either...I have seen my two favorite grandkids so, I will post a couple of pictures of them and maybe just some random ones just for fun!
