The saying, 'Home sweet home' is a truism. It is the simple things which make a home welcoming. The obvious, sleeping in one's own bed, the familiarity of the known, are what we usually think. For me, it is the wide open valley as I come out of the mountains, the fields which lay along the sides of the highway, filled with grapevines, and the cotton fields, the scent of freshly cut alfalfa, the cows and horses dotted against the golden grasses.
The fragrance of gardenias as I walk up the path to my front door. These are just a few of the pleasures of where i call home!
